A beautiful antique cast iron penny bank from the 1920’s. It is cast in the form of a prancing horse with its right hoof up as well as his head. The bank is made of two halves held together with a screw. The bank has the coin slot on the back of the horses’ neck and ending on his back. This 5-1/2″ long and 4-1/4″ bank is unsigned and it has gold overpainting. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a patina from used on the gold. Condition details are noted, and items have signs of use as expected.
